You are not required to sign up in advance, but we highly recommend it. Our hands-on classes and restaurant walking tours are full at 16 people and often sell out in advance.
Yes, we do have a waiting list for sold out events. Please be sure to give us a cell number so we can reach you on short notice while you are in Santa Fe.
We offer a full refund if you give us a 48 hour notice.
No reduced rates for children. If your child wants to be here, we would love to have them, but it is at full price.
Please let us know in advance if you have any dietary restrictions. We do our best to accommodate these needs.
All of our cooking classes include recipes and a full meal EXCEPT our Chile Amor and Salsas classes, which include small tastings only.
If you enjoy your experience with us, our staff appreciates a tip.
We recommend eating a very light lunch (if any) and make late dinner plans. The tours run from 2-5 PM and the whole afternoon is spent eating and drinking!
We have four different routes that we use for our tours and each route includes starting at our school and then visiting four restaurants. If one of our participating chefs has a last minute conflict, we will change the route and add in a different restaurant. Our goal is always to provide our participants with the best, most authentic experience possible at each stop.
The Walking Tours run year round, regardless of what the weather is like. Be prepared for rain, wind, snow, but most likely, a beautiful sunny day (then wear sunscreen!).
We have four different routes and each route is a little different, but we could be walking up to 1 1/2 miles, so we recommend comfortable walking shoes. Also remember that we are at high altitude, so drink lots of water.
We encourage that you ask your chef any questions you may have about the food and food preparation, but you are not at a work station helping to prepare the food.
Yes. If you have flight delays or encounter bad road conditions and cannot make the trip to Santa Fe and the cooking school, a full refund will be given.
Yes, you can reserve our classroom for hands-on or demonstration-style classes and teambuilding events. Just call us at 505.983.4511 and you will be directed to the appropriate person to book your private event.
All of our classes are 3-hours long with the exception of Chile Amor and Salsas, which run 90 minutes.
Yes. You can purchase wine, ales, beer and soft drinks, all local, at any of our classes that include a full meal. Tea, water and coffee are complimentary.
Yes, we have pre-set samples of gift baskets or can prepare one to you liking. We can ship any of your purchases domestically or internationally.
Yes. You can order a gift card for yourself, friends or family members in any dollar amount. Our gift cards are good for classes or products.
We don't have designated parking for the school. There is a parking garage one block from our location or metered parking on the street.
