Cooking Classes

We anticipate the return of our in-person classes on a limited basis beginning sometime in June or July. We will be offering only demonstration-style classes to start and will be operating in a scaled-back capacity. We will be asking our guests to practice social distancing and wear masks and will be strictly adhering to all best practices during the Covid-19 challenge. Master the flavors of the real Southwest with a cooking class reflecting the unique cultural mix of Santa Fe. Classes are offered several times a week and include menus of traditional New Mexican, Native American, Mexican, Spanish, vegetarian and contemporary Southwestern cuisine.

2:00 pm This will take place LIVE on Tuesday, June 9 at 2:00(MST). It should last about 1 hour long. Shopping list included if you decide to cook alongside with Chef Mica. The list will also be available when you purchase the class as the recipes with shopping list will be sent to you.

Warm, spicy tastes and enticing aromas evoke Santa Fe’s rich cultural traditions. This class features several of our favorite traditional foods of New Mexico that are at the heart of the Santa Fe School of Cooking.

These classes allow you to experience this delicious cuisine, including local cooking techniques and the lore of the region. This menu includes our signature recipe, Carne Adovada, which can be eaten alone or made into a burrito with cheese and more. Blue corn calabacita tamales, which are a delicious, vegetarian variety that we incorporated into one of our most requested items and handmade flour tortillas.

9:00 am Join us for an intensive 3-day cooking program we call the Southwest Culinary Boot Camp! This program is three full days gaining insight into the intricacies, tips and history of Southwestern food that make it so unique. We will cover material from knife skills, flavor labs, cooking techniques, ingredients and historical building blocks of the food. We will meet some of Santa Fe's top chefs who will share their thoughts on important cooking techniques. This is HANDS-ON and very interactive with each day ending with a meal. The class culminates in a final exam where you will design and prepare a final meal for some Santa Fe's best palates!

Upcoming Bootcamps are March 2nd-4th, 2020 and November 4th-6th.
