The Eddie Daniels Jazz Quartet Is coming back to Dave's Jazz Bistro in October to salute Eddie's 80th Birthday! The Jazz Bistro's intimate setting is the perfect environment to celebrate this milestone occasion with one of the greatest living Jazz Clarinet players, in one of the first post-pandemic concerts that Eddie will perform. This great talent didn't let the pandemic slow him down. Instead of resting on his laurels, Eddie released a soulful new album "Night Kisses," in which he is featured playing the flute and saxophone in addition to the clarinet. WOW! John Rangel will be on the keyboard is a multi-faceted musician, composer, and producer, originally from New York City and now based in Santa Fe. John has won multiple music awards and has performed with many jazz greats, including Nat Adderly, Marcus Printup, and Dwight Trible. www.johnrangel.com
John Trentacosta on drums is a Native New Yorker, Jazz Drummer, Radio Host, Educator and Jazz Presenter. Played with Al Porcino Big Band, Jimmy Knepper and Chuck Wayne. Founded “Straight Up”, Santa Fe Music Collective and NMSA Jazz Program.
Terry Lee Burns on bass is a Performer, Composer, and Educator. Burns studied with the great Rufus Reid in New York City and has recorded with many of the greatest names in Jazz including Teddy Edwards, Gene Harris, and Freddie Hubbard. burnsbass.com
