Pasilla Chile Sauce from Powder

Pasilla Chile Sauce from Powder

Pasilla chile powder brings the distinctive depth and elegance of one of Mexico’s most beloved dried chiles to this richly flavored sauce. Ground from whole pasilla chiles, this versatile spice delivers layers of dried fruit, cocoa, tobacco, and earthy complexity with a subtle smoky sweetness and mild heat. Combined with roasted tomatillos, toasted spices, and savory stock, the pasilla chile powder creates a smooth, velvety sauce with remarkable depth and balance. This traditional chile sauce reflects the timeless flavors of Mexico and the Southwest, adding warmth and sophistication to enchiladas, grilled meats, roasted vegetables, and more.
